Cooking Instructions
1. Soak the Rice
Soak the rice in water for 2 hours to achieve the best texture. After soaking, drain the water completely.
2. Boil the Rice
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the soaked rice and cook on high heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until the grains are nearly cooked.
3. Drain and Prepare for Steaming
Drain the rice thoroughly and return it to the pot. Add salt and oil according to your taste.
4. Steam the Rice
Cover the pot with a towel and a tight-fitting lid. Cook on high heat for 4 to 5 minutes, then reduce to low heat and allow the rice to steam for 20 to 30 minutes.
